The Rump antagonists have summoned a twilight world of the undead to envelop Tegel Village and possess them in undeath! Little did the Lich-lords of the Manor know, they unlocked portions of the undead realms they did not suspect: the soul power of the villagers has been amplified in this manufactured necro-dimension and the conquered souls of enemies have been drawn back to correct the wrongs against them from the murderous Rumps!

While the scheme of dread lich, Ridwik the Relic, is horrific and terrible to be certain, his ambition has opened unexpected aid to the Village of Tegel. Little does Ridwik know, the villagers’ combined presence in Tegel Manor give them aid from the brilliance of their souls! The more brave villagers entering the Manor at the same time, manifests their spiritual forces in offensive power against the dire forces in this plane! Refer to the table below for your bonuses in game – this will give your meager peasants great power in numbers! RECRUIT your fellow friends to the cause! Victory awaits!

THE RETURN OF THE VANQUISHED!

The Rump intrigues have come back to roost from the underworld! Unbeknownst to Ridwik, the twilight plane of the dead to which you have been drawn has also opened a conduit to souls who have been murdered within the in the Manor’s halls! Your stalwart plebians may find the affinity needed to bring them back to this plane and take their vengeance upon their murderers!

Bringing back the Avatars are not random – your peasants will gain these links through their deeds and ancestral relations!

Rules for the Summoning of Avatars

  • Spirit Check is rolled – Current Spirit Bonus (Personality Bonus) + Spirit Burn (As Spellburn – Minimum 1!), for a DC 13 Spirit Check.
  • Length of Avatar Possession – The spirit of the conquered hero will overtake the your villager! The hero will manifest with all the skills and items they possessed at the time of their death. The duration of the possession is 2 + 1d4 rounds.
  • Maintaining Avatar Possession – Roll Spirit Check (with same requirements) with an additional +1 to the DC per additional round the avatar anchored. A failed check breaks the connection unless a donation is given.
  • Maintain the Avatar Possession Through Donation – You may give to the cause to keep up the fight! The donation schedule is as follows
    • 1st round – $1 donation
    • 2nd round – $2 donation
    • 3rd round – $4 donation
    • 4th round – $8 donation
    • etc
  • Judge Meddling! – A donation of $5 from a Judge or other participant will give a -2 penalty to the Spirit Roll! An equal donation will negate this penalty!
