THE JERRY STEFEK MEMORIAL CRAWL FOR THE CURE: ETHERMEET 2025 UPDATE!

Another update for the incredible events we have lined up for you for The Jerry Stefek Memorial Crawl for the Cure: Ethermeet 2025 on December 13th on Twitch.tv channel dcc_mayhem! Come join the incredibly fun RPG sessions and provide donations to the American Cancer Society to make the runs weird and wild for ultimate entertainment from 7 AM Saturday until Sunday, 2 AM CST!

Additionally, Freelance Artist Christopher Tupa will be putting up the incredible artworks pictured for raffle, as well as hanging out in the dcc_mayhem Twitch chat to take your requests for custom artworks! Starting at $25 for a black ink drawing and starting at $50 for color, this is NOT an opportunity you’ll want to miss!

The memorial play-a-thon is in memory of Jerry Stefek: gamer, father, friend and altruist. We tragically lost Jerry to aggressive lymphoma in 2018. ALL proceeds will be given to cancer research and patient assistance through Tiltify to the American Cancer Society!  Help us reach our $5,000 goal to push us past $32,000 to almost $37,000 over our 6 years of Crawl events! Perform Mighty Deeds to help those in need and spread Good to those afflicted.

XCRAWL 4 THE CURE – LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY! FIGHT CANCER!

Three days have passed and we have more incredible updates to share!  36 game company sponsors and 8 artists providing original works for all-attendee raffles! (Tell your friends!) Steve has reported we currently have 19 prizes every hour and rising for the raffles, and DJ Unchained (Jim Meyers) has categorized and compartmentalized your crawlers’ miseries and triumphs for Tournament rewards. Make history with the stories of your exploits and WIN THAT LOOT!

A few new rules for picking up prizes.  We will be able to work with you to give you any physical prizes you have won during two periods: 

  • After the event at 8:30 PM until we’re done packing up.
  • We have arranged tables in Hall A, 124 & 125 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM. Thank you to Gamehole Con for arranging this time for us!
  • NOTE: Some of the hourly raffle prizes are physical; please check in before you leave and we will give the assigned prize to you!

Notes on prizes:

  • Tournament prizes are first-come, first-serve – we will have a pool of prizes (INCREDIBLE PRIZES from our sponsors!) for those that arrive on time to loot before the rest! Gather your booty! 
  • We cannot mail prizes to you, sorry.  Any prizes not picked up will go into the pool for next year’s event.
  • PDF prizes will be mailed to the e-mail address you registered with at check-in. The e-mail will only be used for communicating with you about Crawl for the Cure – we will never use it for any other purpose.
