Hello all!  The Jerry Stefek Memorial Crawl for the Cure: Ethermeet 2022 concluded last night, and with a few more donations after hours, we are proud to announce with your help we were able to raise $4,185.55 for the American Cancer Society between Tiltify and $725 of pre-event donations!  That is an amazing feat, especially in these strange economic times. We thank you ALL for your generosity in making a real difference in people’s lives.  Thank you for your support of the event!

Thank you to Luau Lou for putting on an awesome show with this crew; Lou tapped the muse of the late night horror show to bring us the Final Admission Theater & ½ Price Oyster Bar, hosted by his alternate persona, Insanti Clawz! His players dressed for the part, and it was an incredible play of Julian Bernick’s Home for the Holideath! Thank you Final Admission Theater crew! The 2021 and 2022 sessions will be going up on YouTube for your enjoyment in the near future, be sure to catch up on what you missed, there were awesome sessions in both!

A very special thanks to Reid San Filippo and Shield of Faith Studios for his very generous $500 donation to the cause to put us over $1,000 more earned than last year’s Ethermeet! Thank you for your generous donation to the cause, Reid!

Finally, I wanted to thank Steve Seminerio and my amazing and tireless wife, Hazel Welch, for their countless hours of work helping me put these events together! It simply could not be done without them, so kudos goes to them for their work and for putting up with stressed me at the same time!

The top prizes were awarded, and we’re going to take a few days rest, then we’ll start getting the prizes out to you. Hi all! I just wanted to share with you the thank you from the American Cancer Society for our direct $1,500 contribution (a $300 donation was made on our behalf from another donor for the $1,800 total) for our Gamehole Con IX 2022 The Shambling Undead Charity Crawl! Your outstanding support enabled us to go far beyond our expectations for the event and make a difference in peoples’ lives! Thank you for enabling us to do this Good work for those in need in Jerry’s memory!

Please also take a minute to look over the ACS-provided lists of tangible effects your support has for those suffering and affected by cancer’s grasp! Every dollar you give helps those in need! It is great to see where those dollars are going to!

Hello all! I received an update this week from the Hope Lodge, an American Cancer Society community program that provides free lodging for patients and their caregivers while they receive treatment. It is a home-like atmosphere where patients have places to gather or find quiet, where they can find support from others and make emotional ties with others on the same path.

Last year we used our PayPal donations ($1,286.23, matched to $2,572.46) to support the Baltimore, MD Hope Lodge in expansion and renovation. They sent us a newsletter to remind us that our donation affected someone in need!

(Note: This year all payments will go through Tiltify – they do have PayPal as a donor option this year to support PayPal donors!)

Hello all!  Our Grassroots Advertising Flyer Campaign for The Jerry Stefek Memorial Crawl for the Cure: Ethermeet 2022 has not left dock.. But we are committed to the experiment and time is still left until the Wednesday, December 7th deadline! For those that spread the word about Ethermeet our awesome game store communities, we’ll raffle for a $100 DriveThru RPG gift certificate! Let’s just say at this point – you’re odds are very good! We want to do as much Good as possible, and we’d love to have your help and thank you for that aid!

The rules:

• Between now and 9 PM CST Wednesday, December 7th, 2022, print off our PDF flyer (multiples appreciated!), and ask permission to post it in your local game store(s) to spread the word.
• Take a picture of the posted flyer (details visible, please!) and an additional picture of the game store with its name and logo to thank them for their support!
• Post these pictures and pertinent information about the game store alerting our Twitter feed, @crawlforthecure, and use the hashtag #jerryscrawl! Let’s give the brick-and-mortar some advertising!  Each game store post gives you another chance in the drawing.
• We’ll contact the winner through Twitter to get your full information after the drawing to collect your loot!

We think this is a great way to get our word out in game stores, spread it on Twitter and give our local retailers a bump for their support! Thank you for your support, and we wish you good hunting in obtaining this trove of adventure!
