The sweet, collectible entry tokens to The Jerry Stefek Memorial Crawl for the Cure 2019 have landed! A bulky, clacky package from Chip Lab containing your pass to adventure arrived a few days ago! They are AWESOME and some donated original Doug Kovacs artwork adorns the back of the pass – your ticket to entering the Carnival of the Damned! Your $4 donation to the American Cancer Society buys your way into a day full of gaming in the Carnival of the Damned at Gamehole Con! Play a character until it’s untimely death, get in line for your next character (or stay if there is no line) – step back in throughout the day when you can! The secrets of the Carnival are there for you to unwind and probe it’s dark mysteries – brace yourself!

Well, clowns seem to be following me everywhere since I took this on. Ironically, this was at the blood center I donate platelets at… Gruesome, violent and terrible – guess it gives me more horror fuel for the tournament.

I had a bit of serendipity today when I went to open the bank account for the electronic donations:

My clown vocabulary has been expanded! A circus of clowns, a clown alley, a pandemonium of clowns, a parliament of clowns, and finally a giggle of clowns – they all may spell your doom in the Carnival of the Damned! We hope to see you that the Crawl to deal with the diabolical menace! The Clowns of the Damned must be silenced, join us Crawl for the Cure!

I had a wonderful surprise on Saturday with a box of Purple Sorcerer and Stiff Whisker Press loot sitting on my doorstep! CHECK IT OUT!

We have the second place prize — one of the 3 signed copies of Carnival of the Damned and the giddily disconcerting original Carnival of the Damned artwork that David has graciously donated for our crawlers! There are some incredible runners up prizes in the other two signed copies of the Carnival, and a bad man’s Dark Trails t-shirt (2XL – fits most) which has a rendition of the awesome Sanjulian Dark Trails cover on the back and the game’s official logo on the front – truly worthy of a double-fisted fire-into-the-air salute!

And that’s not all – plenty of Dark Trails and Carnival swag for our players to lovingly procure to hold them over until Dark Trail’s release in 2020! Be sure to come out to support the American Cancer Society and get your loot!!

I have been hard at work creating the royal trophy to honor our King or Queen of the Carnival! The traditional clown which adorns the trophy is a buddy of Paul Stanley of KISS, in a collectible toy sense!

These photos show the Jester beat down the jock with help from Paul Stanley and a particularly creepy poodle (how apropos!) for his place on the pedestal! I’ll be ordering the cool trophy badges so our trophy will be gender appropriate for the new Reagent! Come to Gamehole Con and take your throne on November 1st, 2019!

(Long ago 😉 ) Sorry, this is long overdue, Goodman sent me the 1st prize book a week or so ago and it’s be a crazy life lately. The book is BEAUTIFUL – it will make some very lucky reagent of the Carnival a very happy person.
